Idea of Pokemon bad?

Question

who thinks the idea of pokemon is bad. Mainly, it's catching innocent pokemon who might not even like you, then send them to risk their lives against other pokemon who want to knock you out! i mean, these pokemon have to deal with fire, electricity, rocks, and hyper beams. it's like animal fighting, except instead of the pokemon dying, they're just healed and sent back out to fight again!! and who knows what pokemon they'll fight next? caterpie/ charizard. so who thinks the idea of pokemon is bad?

I think it is okay. It is so much better that YuGiOh, though. Pokemon isn't as violent as some other anime fighting monster shows.

My opinion is that it's somewhat controversial, depending on which way you are looking at it. I think it's mean, but it's just a cartoon and I'm sure when they were making it, they didn't intend it to come across that way.

If you have the ability to analyze life and death...and the realization of feelings for other critters on this earth (empathy), I think its about time to grow out of pokemon.

Why pick on just Pokemon? If they're bad, so are all those other kid shows w/ fighting.... Digimon, Yu-Gi-Oh, Power Rangers, etc....

well if you ask me your dumb well for starters usually most pokemon fights are fair i play the games and yah i have a 11 ft tall dragon against aalot of other pokemon who are like 6 ft shorter and sometimes win but seriously theres no way someone do a caterpie vs charizard fight and beisdes most pokemon are dragon and birds in steel armor
