Well it is useful if it is used at the right time

like say you got a few lvl 3 monsters or 4 with att and def lvls below 2000 on the field, that card is really useful wen low on cards.. but a good strategies to use that card is probably wiping out all ur opponents magics and traps (heavy storm, dust tornado etc) and using cards that would destroy only your opponents monsters (fissure) or a good combo u could use a dark hole card and bring bakk afew monsters if you have the right cards on the fiels *monster reborn or call of the haunted* buhh yeahh the yamata dragon is a very unique card and is only good using at the precise moment.

until u hav enuff cards to make a theme, merely take the best cards u have and make them into a deck of 40-50 cards. thats what i did when i first started out.  However, u might wanna trade for some archfiend support cards.
