ideas????????????????????...

do u have an idea ....in making bulletin board's interesting for high school students??? cause i have to make a bulletin board within this week & i don't have any ideas??

pls. help me!!

As a teacher, I think the best bulletin boards are the ones that students have input into. I don't know what your subject is so it's hard to come up with ideas - but some of my favorite student involved boards are these:

A current events board (cut out articles from newspapers or print from online - decorate with a border of flags, Earth, newspaper,etc.)

A writing input board (students post pieces of their writing, you have post its handy at the board, students write constructive comments and place them on the writing)

A book review board - students post reviews of books they have read recently - you could post copies of the cover along with them to make it more attractive

Kids get stimulated and attentive when they are challenged.  How can you make it a bit of a challenge to read?  Maybe some info can be presented as a question with the answer someplace else on the board.  Challenge them to consiser current events and principles with "what would you do?" type of formats.  Maybe a puzzle type format?

Make it personal to the students...involve pictures of the students and make it related to the students in some way or form. Maybe display some past dances, prom, graduation, etc... perhaps a memory board?
