Idealist Vs realist?

Do you think it's better to be a realist or an idealist?

and why do you think it's better?

idealist - generally speaking, you're spending more time thinking of ways to make society better, than thinking of why society is so poor.

When people speak of Utopia, they aren't fantazising, they literally want to work towards it.

In a very strange way, that's more real than a realist could wish for.
