  1. That is really really spooky have a look at the question list in the Egypt section and you will see the question I asked wow

  2. The color scheme should be white and gold as egyptian pharao's were among the richest people in the world some of them, and chleopatra wore gold and white, you'll see in almost every depiction of her it's gold and white. You could get gold curtains, leave the walls white, get a few glass cats (egyptians worshiped cats), a spynx is not a bad idea, you can google egypt and look for ideas too. I haven't seen a blanket that would look egyptian...but defintely something like this http://images.jupiterimages.com/common/d... would be a very nice room. You could look in the phone book for stores that sell stuff from the middle east, that usually has the right stuff u want.

  3. A Basket of Vipers under the bed and some smelly camels in the corner.

maybe burn some of those 10 for a £1 chemically made insense sticks for effect.

  4. Sand

  5. sand coloured carpet, Baby Blue paint for celing, wallpaper with sphinx and pyramids on, normal bed frame with toy snake wraped around it, and basic stuff like that, dont want it REALY REALY REALY TOO flashy now do we?  ;)

    Hope I helped!!  :)  x*x

  6. ok dont go OTT. perhaps use soem north african colours, so earthy rich tones. liek burnt reds, oranges and golds. but only minimal. and concentrate more on teh accesories. such as lampshades. you can buy online north african style lamp shades, beds, bedding etc. use lots of scatter cushions in nice fabrics. you can also buynorth african furniture online, a bit expensive but very authentic and original. liek beds, wardrobes, draws etc. so have a look online and you will find loads.

for your bedroom walls dont use too much colour, perhaps use one or two walls to put the chosen clour so a burnt red or rustic orange, and teh other walls, a netrual lighter colour such as sand, or cream or cookie colour. very nice.

and then use accessories to add the egyptian feel. lighten is important. :)

    good luck

  7. The walls would be creamy/white with top edge of the wall painted in gold. The ceiling would be light blue, the Chandelier in the middle is golden as well.

Floors best to be ceramic, creamy colour. I know it is not perfect and warm as bedrooms should be. But if you decided to go for carpet choose a light colour to match the walls. if you go for wooden floors than you have no choice but dark colours which will spoil the whole theme.

Are you buying a standard ready made bed or made to order? if the latter, I suggest a canopy type bed, like this

    http://www.justsleighbeds.com/asp/show_d...

Seats will be of your classic choice, so as the rest of the bedroom furniture.

All will be light colours. You just need to play with the colours of the beddings and curtains,

your main colours would be Cream/white, Gold, Blue. Secondary colours would be Red and Black of your choice.

This is my opinion, don't  run after me if it ended up funny, ok?

    .

  8. paint the walls like eqyptian scenery, sand, nile, pryamids

then a four poster bed, but make them carved into eqyptian stuff,

    and net curtains

    and gold wardrobes

    xx
