Ideas Needed for an Adult Birthday Party...?

My 33rd birthday is in May and I am having a Caribbean Birthday Backyard Barbeque this year...

I want to hire some creative (family friendly) entertainment...

Any ideas?

I'm thinking an early fireworks show would be exciting.

How about some Caribbean  music? Steel Drums would be great. Reggae music too

Make some tropical drinks.  Mojitos are very popular. That would be, rum, mint and brown sugar.

I have an event planning business and we throw parties professionally.  I would try making it a survivor theme party, for instance SURVIVOR -Caribbean Islands.  Have challenges that the whole family can participate in and have survivor themed decor.  That's all I can give you without giving away some of our trade secrets! =) I hope this helps.

Go with a casual game of horseshoes or that new game where you throw balls with string attached to a ladder. Music with a little limbo. Afrisbee goes a long way in my circle. Or you can buy like 10 decks of UNO cards and see how it goes

Gotta have jerk chicken, jamaican patties, regae music...hheeey, you can hire jamaican dancers to perform, have people dress in beach attire, of course the limbo contest, booty shakin contest, bob marley shot drink mix contest (not a fan of it, but tried it at Jamaica), lots of rum mix drinks, etc......thats all I can think of right now
