Ideas On How To Decorate A Prom.....?

im on the decorating comitte for the prom and i was wondering if anyone had any good ideas.....the theme is summer of love.

Check out companies that sell prom decorations, like Shindigz, and get ideas from there. Most would be easy to recreate for a much lower price. You can always use an opaque projector to make cut outs, and don't forget lots of balloons. Good luck, and have fun!!

Think of old movies that you've watched.  The most romantic themes came from the 4o's, 50's and early 60's.  Go to your local movie rental and look thru the old films bet you can find some ideas there.  Pick an exotic local (Africa, Hawaii, Mexican Riviara) and build around it.  We used the theme of Sayonara set in Japan.
