Ideas for 30th anniversary?

my parents 30th anniversary is sept.23rd... i don't have much money to spend on it, but i was wondering if there is something special i could do/surprise them with?

cook them a nice dinner OR bake a fancy decorated cake

why not gather up close friends and family and take them out to dinner someplace fun! everyone pay for their own meals and then split the cost of your parents meals and drinks. you could find any place that is within your price range so you don't have to spend very much- maybe dessert and some drinks back at your parents house or your house afterwards.

Cook them a nice dinner (or order some) and leave them alone for the night. Stay at a friends or a relatives house. They probably never get a night to spend all alone.

What about some sort of scrapbook of the past thirty years. My parents love stuff like that for their anniversary
