Ideas for Basic/Consumer Math Lesson Plans??

Question

I am teaching Consumer math this year at the high school level and I need ideas!!! I teach students with special needs.

Consumer math is basic math that applies these math concepts to real life scenarios. (example: how to earn and spend money) I want to have the kids keep a time card each week and I am having trouble finding a template that I like.

Just wondered if there were any other teachers out there that could give me some ideas!! It's always nice to share lessons.
