Restaurants, shopping, tourist attractions and other interesting things to see in Mystic, Connecticut, Salem, Massachusetts,and Portsmouth, New Hampshire

Well, personally I can tell you I have pretty much been everywhere in New England, and there's plenty to see, but most of it is very similar. There is a lot of Historical value everywhere you go there. Mystic, Noank, New London, The Thames River area is a nice starting point, with plenty of local shopping and restaurants all within proximity. The Flood Tide and Margaritaville are nice restaurants to visit while in Mystic.

Personally, within 15 minutes of there are the Watch Hill, Misquamicut beaches in Rhode Island...quite beautiful. Salem is pretty cool, also very laid back. Portsmouth has Some of the nations best Sea food and Beer! Hands down! You will have no Problem locating tons of great restaurants and shops there. Also, if your in New Hampshire and you have the time, You must take a drive to the White Mountains, and the Kangamungus Highway...It's truly what they mean by live free or die.
