Ideas for Toasting to the happy couple?

I am the Maid of Honor for my sister who is 4 years older, and my best friend, and i need help with a toast?

First of all, good for you for thinking ahead. I was a bridesmaid in a wedding, and when it was time for the maid of honor to give a toast, she declined! So, I got up and did a spur of the moment thing. The bride happened to be my best friend, and I couldn't leave my girl hangin'.

Pick a special moment you've had with the bride AND groom, but keep the story fairly short so as not to bore the guests. Funny moments always go over well. Speak form your heart, but whatever you do, don't go with the cheesy line, "I'm not losing a sister, I'm gaining a brother"...eeew!

End the toast by saying "to the bride and groom!" and hold up your champagne glass.
