Ideas for a 14 year olds room?

Okay so my mom is letting me re-do my room.

I need ideas from the color of the bed sheets my mirror and stuff like that. Also i need some good paint colors.

I want it to be a fun place where my friends and i can hang outt

go for something light for paint color (depending on fave colors)

ex. white for 2-3 walls

then a bold color like red for 1-2 walls then an accent color like black-blue w/e

ok black or dark colors make your room look small but if you us neon it seems to be a eye shore. go with like a light green purple or tan really just a light color looks good it has a warmer softer feeling to the room as well something like red gives the room a sense of aggretion white is plain but it deos open the room up and its clean as well the texture on your wall well play an effet to the room. but you could always go two tone just make sure the colors flow use like the banners if you go with this idea it makes it look clean and nice

but sometimes its cool you but spatter it its fun and its a peace of your art what ever you do have fun with it dont make it stressful on your self

I would go with something that you know won't get old after a few months. Who knows the next time your mom might let you redo it, right?

I wouldn't go with neutral colors, though. Make your room pop! Keep it interesting.

Would you consider a beautiful red-orange? How about an aquatic blue?

By going with a bright color, it will be easier to make your room less boring and you can use more common accessories to change it up a little later on if you ever want to.

i think that good colors for a 14 year olds room should be mature but still fun. if you do something bright like pink you should back it up with like a brown, or blue and brown. if you use pastels greens blues and pinks are good. so if you could say ur fav colors i think that that would help get you more answers cus we dont know wat u like. think bright. and if you choose maybe get a rug with all of the colors for ideas and kinda to center the room.

Get a few posters of your fa banddd, or actor or w/e.

Get some curtans what will stand out, and not cleshay with your room! =]

Get a mirror that fita behind your door, so you can lok at your outfit, or a shorter one hung on the wall so you can at least do your hair. Get colors that you can live with, a vibrant pink on the walls, white ceiling, i beg of you do not PAINT THE CEILING, you will feel like you are inside of a peanut shell. Get comfy fluffy pillows, good quality chairs or stumps to sit. Themed comforters & blankets are allways cute. Maybe get a new mattress, it will feel good and you will love your room because of it.

4 the paint maybe a pink or magenta color...or if you want something funny maybe yellow or orane...your bed mmm...

I'm fourteen, & I've been dying to repaint my room. It doesn't have a theme [I think we're a bit too old for that, honestly], but I would like one wall to be yellow, two to be a light [but not pale] green, & the last to be a darker green. My bedsheets are blue, white & green-striped. I want a lot of posters, but I'm too cheap to get some, haha. Just make sure that your room reflects what you want [& not what yahooanswers is telling you to get]. Good luck!

def funky ur so lucky i live an an apartment so space is limited and i cant paint...

anyways go to bed bath and beyond go to micheals craft store and buy really cool art that you like and a bed bath and beyond they have really cool wall decor stickers its your room go wild!  and also add some cool funky lamps and a couple bean bag chairs.
