Ideas for a 16 year old girl's birthday party?

I'm going to be turning 16 in a few weeks, and I am not sure what to do for a birthday party. Any ideas?

If you want to do something memorable and fun, do something crazy wit your buds that  you've never done before, like skydiving, or scuba diving, white water rafting, or anything else in those categories. If you don't necessarily want something in that category, there is also the idea of a themed dress party, where you choose a theme and every ones formal outfits have to agree with the theme ( jungle, barbie, superheroes....)

I took my daughter and some of her friends on a limo ride to the Hard rock cafe in  Boston and we had a great time. You are a skater so maybe you can all go ice skating after dinner

depending on your budget and where you want to go, take a trip to some sort of resort
