Ideas for a 'going green' sign?

i have to make a 'going green' sign for school. it has to be really good. do you think bordering the sign by gluing real leaves to it is a good idea? if u have any suggestions please share them.

  1. Why not make it out of pulverized grass and the pigment out of crushed holly berries.  First you would pulverize the grass in a blender with a little water.  Pour this out on top of a fine mesh screen with something solid and flat underneath.  Then using a rolling pin begin to extract the water and let it dry (takes a couple of days) when it is done mash up some brightly colored holly berries and paint Go Green on the sign,  Completely recyclable.  


  2. You could use real leaves but they will eventually start to dry and crumble. If you have access to fake leaves that would be good. You could also get constuction paper (color green) and make it like a class activity(if you have a class) and have all the kids cut out leaves to put on the poster. And in the middle of the poster you could put three leaves(fake, paper or real) in the shape of the recycle logo.  

  3. Write GO in big green letters on a white or black background (white if you use dark green or black if you use light green).
