Ideas for a 4 year old's airplane themed birthday party?

My friend's son is turning 4 and loves airplanes. I am handmaking "boarding ticket" invitations but am looking for other ideas for making this a spectacular party. Has anyone seen any airplane related toys in Target dollar spot, various dollar stores, etc or can come share some other ideas with me?

Having Blue and White balloons all around for the sky and clouds would be a nice touch, too!

they have those foam airplanes at the dollar stores...the ones you throw and they flip in the air and come back to you- you could get one of those each for the kids. we have Dollar Tree by us and that's where I've seen them.
