  1. I think I tea-time would be really cute!  A few diff types of tea (earl gray, english breakfast, pepermint, etc - regular and decalf) with some sandwiches (chickensalad, cucumber and creamchease, lunchmeat, whatever), soup (broccolie chease, beef veggie, french onion, etc) scones (chcolatechip, raspberry, cinnimon, etc), clotted cream, leamon curd, garden salad, fresh fruit (either fruit salad, or strawberries, grapes, sliced apples, oranges, banannas, etc), sugar, milk/cream, and leamon for the tea.

It's a cute and elegant time for mom and daughter to relax, enjoy some goodies and tea, and feel elegant and stylish.  Fancy dresses, hats, and gloves optional (but if you have a few laying around as decoration or for people to wear it'd be super cute!!)

  2. Actually, i kinda agree with Laura on this one. It would bring variety to the food, and you'd see how others cook at their place (might find a dinner buddy) lol, and it establishes closeness between the mother and daughter.... and isn't that what this whole thing is about??

  3. How about a pot luck brunch?  For activities, you could  take photos of the mom/daughter and print them out.  Then have them make their own picture frame (lots of neat ideas for frames at craft stores).  Another idea might be some sort of service project at your church.  For example the group could paint the church nursery or plant flowers out front or something like that.
