Ideas for a Running Diet?

I currently have about a 25-26 minute 5K time, and i'm trying to get it down to 22 minutes by the end of XC season. any tips for a diet that can help me achieve this goal?

i've already got a running plan, but i just need the food ideas to help.

  1. Protein shakes.


  2. nothing oily. One meal that I have is some salads, some steak, lots of rice, cup of milk, and a piece of salmon or tuna (real ones not the ones in cans).
