Vote-generating ideas: lies work quite well, as politicians teach us often enough. But money works even better.

If you want to be a bit less immoral, uncover the lies of your opponent, instead of lying more than him/her.

High School or college?

In high school, it was a popularity contest. In college, it was more to do with concerts and cool stuff like that.

You can't go wrong with a live band, excuses to get out of class and promising stuff like "one more vacation day".
