Ideas for a chemical bonds board game?

  1. Make some poker chips with element symbols on them -- some Hs, Os, Cs, whatever else seems best.

    In your turn, take a face-down chip from the stack and put it in the middle. If any player can see a compound that can be made from the available elements, they call "Bond!" and show everyone (like if there are two Hs and an O available, they make water). If there are no combos that anyone sees, the next player goes.

    Instead of being a "who sees it" game, you could only allow the person who turned up the card/chip to make a compound. To make it faster, people might start with a hand of a few elements so they can fill in missing ones.
