Ideas for a creative birthday present for a 40 year old woman

I would like something thoughtful but unique. She loves to cook, drinks wine, is married w/ kids.

a women friend...well you know her best or ask the hubby.

even us that love to cook love to be cooked for.  

a napa dinner train ride has great food and wine.  

again depends who is giving the gift.

You could give her three wines (HER FAVORITE ONES)  and a very special cook book.

either a cookbook.... or how about a personalized throw blanket...older women love things that are nice but usable everyday....good luck

Depending on how much you were going to spend... a day at a spa or at a nail or hair place that she likes.

I would recommend getting her a wine gift basket, they're beautiful and reasonably priced.

lol thanks, say it like it is. But seriously, how about taking a cookbook/winebook, trimming pages out, and then fashioning them into a flower? So that way, she can just spin it to cook something else.
