Question:

Ideas for a good board game?

Hi all,

I want some suggestions for a good board game in the age group 12 - 16.

I want it to include girls and boys interests. For example, most girls like shopping and most boys like sports. I want it possibly to have something to do with creativity or money?

Otherwise, any suggestions will do!

Please help.

Thank you.

  1. Chess. Scrabble. Monopoly. Checkers. They're all great.

  2. naked twister

  3. Try teach Chess. Yes...I know... its not the MOST fun and interesting board game but it does teach quick thinking a Strategy.

  4. This has the web site broken down on playing any game

    http://boardgames.about.com/od/rules/Rul...

  5. Monopoly is an old classic, but I'm not sure how fun it would be for you.

There is a game similar to it called Charity. The aim of the game is to give away, to Charity, as much money as you can without running out! You start with $10 MILLION and you land on spaces to pick up cards: either INCOME, QUIZ, CHARITY, or SILLY cards. Income gives you money, which you want to avoid unless you have less than $3 Million.

Charity lets you give money to the bank, which is good unless you have low cash.

Quizes ask you questions. Get them wrong and you will recieve money. Get them right and you will PAY money to Charity.

Silly cards are my fave!!! They have a question or an instruction on them which you have to follow.

For Example: IS IT RAINING OUTSIDE?

    Yes: Pay $2 million.

No: Drink a glass of water.

This game is only available in Australia though. If not, I can suggest Risk, Monopoly, Chess, Checkers, Backgammon or something really fun and whaky, like Mouse Trap.
