Ideas for a greek/roman themed graduation?

^ my grad has a greek/roman theme, any ideas for decorations and center pieces besides columns and the parthenon?? :)

  1. Roast boar/pig in the center table, vines and grapes, wine, greek and roman god things, olive wreaths, people serving in togas... That would be so fun. I wish I could do that!


  2. I've seen these done really well and at most of the gathering they hire people to walk around as Roman and Greek men of war. The people they use are not from most schools in the area  and it tends to freak people out, it's a great touch. Get a nice table full of all the fruits you can lay your hands on and make sure it's full of a variety of colors (enormous table) and fruit is cheaper than you think. If it's in the budget get fabric to go between the columns and add lanterns to light each table. After that you add the people and the rest will fall into place. Oh, don't let it get out that these guys are going to be walking around and make sure they are big guys, the costumes of the time period are on the net in your area. You and your friends will add the class....then party.
