Ideas for a high school level science project?

Does anybody have any ideas for a high school level science project?

I need to do a science project for Physics, but our project doesn't have to deal with Physics.

He's giving us around 3 weeks to complete this project.

So he doesn't want us to do a project on plants or animals.

Any ideas?

Look up the "Stroop Effect"  It has to do with colors....I once used it as a high school science project.... Easy A!

Plus its pretty interesting... its neat.

"accidentally" drop some  fingernail polish in the toilet

it will not dissolve or disperse but remain on the surface and be flat.

look up the details of surface tension and explain what happened.

do a robot!!! We did some sumo robots powered by 3 dollar little motors..We had to do a lot of gearing and drilling and all that stuff but our robot was the strongest!!

make a scale trebuchet and explain how the counter weight system works its fun and easy plus you get to shoot something across your classroom
