We can't figure out which play to do...any ideas? (No Shakespears, okay?? And it has to be something well-known, but without talking animals or anything. We're in MIDDLE SCHOOL.)

  1. My school last year did, "How to eat like a child." Its a musical and wonderful.

  2. Grease

  3. You could do a disney story.

How about Snow white and the Seven dawrfs. You already have 10 characters. The princess, prince, 7 dawrtfs and the evil queen. Then you could use the rest of the class as backstage.

Or even another well known fairy tale would be cool. The kids can put thier own little spin on it.

  4. Here are some good plays I saw:

    "Snow Angel":  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snow_Angel_...

It's an amazing play, it seems slow and boring at first but it is really good and has an interesting and funny plot.  However it may be better for  high schoolers.

    "Romeo To Go":  http://www.jonathanrand.com/play.php3?pl...

A very funny play, great for middle school!  When students at a middle school experience a budget cut, they must rehearse an entire 10-minute play within 20 minutes.  Funny, good, and fast-paced.

    Hope this helped!

  5. the wizard of Oz

  6. I'M thinking remake of the california raisins!!

  7. A Street Car Named Desire?

  8. high school musical :D

  9. The Adventures of Black Jesus by Huey Freeman.

  10. The Graduate might be a good play to do.

  11. Why don't you write one on your own? That would make you feel very accomplished. However, Singing in the Rain, The Wizard of Oz, Lord of the Flies, Les Miserables, are all good picks.

  12. The three musketeers

  13. alladin

  14. Little Women would be a fun one.

  15. Charlie Brown, Sound of Music, Bridge to Teribitha, Treasure Island, Disney like Snow white and stuff, etc.

    hope that helped!
