Ideas for a poster about american?

I have to make a poster for Government class, and I need ideas. We are suppose to make a poster that shows all the things we appreciate about America. So I was going to will it will pictures of people in my family that were in the military and stuff like that. What else could I do on it to show my patriotism? :] thanks :]

You have a GREAT start!  Here are a few more ideas:

An American flag

Some pictures of the Presidential candidates, or a voting booth

Baseball

Hot dogs

Watermelon

Football

Olympic athletes wearing their USA uniforms

Dollars -- or a millionaire

A State University

the EBay logo

without doubt, you need an american flag. they say baseball is the all american pastime, George Washington, the flag at Mt. Suribachi, Mt Mckinley, . . . . Pikes Peak is the inspiration for the song "America the Beautiful" . . . its refered to as "purple mountain majesty" maybe some "amber waves of grain"  look up the lyrics and see if there is enough to make the song your centerpiece, and super impose the lyrics in the middle.

I think the military sends a negative image. Makes it look like USA is all about war.
