  2. Yep. I did that project several years ago too.  It's just basically something that you show the class how to do, but it's usually more fun if your son enjoys it himself.

For example, making paper airplanes, baking a simple treat, or making a simple origami creature (my project).  If he chooses any one of these, then for the airplane and oriami idea, he could pass out paper and get the class involved.  Or with the baking, the class would love to try the treats.

Try not to have him pick something that is common to everyone though.  Try something that will get the class involved, so that your son's presentation will be one that will be remembered.  Good Luck and remember to have fun!

  3. How to get an A on my "How to project"

How to build a bird house

How to annoy my sister/brother etc

How to beat Guitar Hero III

  4. I dunno, but try to throw in some anecdotes and jokes (make sure they're related though).

Also don't talk with the same tone of voice throughout the entire presentation.

Oh yes and body language. Make sure your hands follow what you're saying.

Hmm... and try to make sure you remember what you're going to say...

    yeah... hope that helps

  5. If you don't actually have to build, but can rely on the theoretics, I would recommend batch bio-diesel production using the Appleseed "Homebrew" Reactor. That would be interesting.

  6. When I was a in 5th grade I had the same exact project.

    My ideas i had were:

How to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich

How to ride a unicycle(i have one)

and How to operate my gameboy

  7. i did a simple how to make a cherry cheese cake using the one that's already in the box with a grahm cracker crust it's cute to watch the lil ones make their own an present to the class how to do it.

  8. My daughter just did this for her speech/drama class in high school.  She did it simply on "How to drive your parents crazy"

She really got into it and thought of all the little things she as well as her siblings did around here to make me and her father go mad ( loud radio, phone calls at 10pm, fighting, clothes all ocver the floor etc.)  She had a blast doing it and the teacher said it was one of the most unique ideas she had ever seen.
