Ideas for a regression analyis?

I am assigned to do a regression analysis for a Finance class.

I have to choose a dependent variable Y and then 2 explanatory X variables. The variables need to be Finance related. I need some suggestions! Thank you!

  1. You can try following pairs:

    Monetary base M1 and nominal GDP

    Interest rate and GDP growth

    Inflation and monetary base

    Exchange rate and foreign trade

    etc. - alternatives are many.
