I just want to get some friends together this summer, the party isn't in honor of anything special. I haven't decided if I want it to be all girls or invite some guys too, which I'll probably end up doing. I need ideas! Nothing like scavenger hunts please, these will be people from 16-18 years old.

^ Answer that and I'll answer yours.

  3. For my 17th we wnt to a local park and played football and soccar, it was fun everyone was involved and it give everyone a common ground to talk about afterward. Hope that helped!! you could always do volley ball too...

  4. do a yankee swap with a 10 $ cap and buy silly prizes..

  5. liquor.

no, I'm kidding, unless you're into that.

    Do you have a pool?

Just supply food, drinks, music, a movie maybe.

& you have a small party. The rest will play out.

it's not about what there is to do, it's the people that make the party.

  6. I have game parties. We start out with 4 playing pool, then 4 more and the winners play each other. We do the same with electronic darts but pair up and you can play with at least 8. We then play Wii bowling in pairs while we snack then off to dinner and then we play some silly games like catch phrase or password afterwards.

  7. cool!!! so for your party your theme could be (schools out) okay you don't have to have a pool or anything you have the food and the people will bring the fun... do you have a nice size backyard if so that will work just fun (fun is laughing and playing around okay invite the boys then you all can have water fights and things like that it's fun i am 10 yrs older than you and i do this with my adult friends always a hit and it's something to do to make the summer all the more fun (let's call this one a summers out social gathering would be HAWT!!! (so cook on the grill and have fun!!!*L*

  8. I have a 80s party with all my girlfriends every year- it is so fun! we play 80s trivia, listen to 80s music and we play this gift exchange game that is really fun! (email if you want to know more about it) we also vote on best dressed (it is so funny to see what people come up with to wear!)  and I have a special prize for the winner - any good 80s movie.

otherwise how about a spa party for the girls- do manicures and pedicures, makeup, have everyone bring over any spa type supplies they have like foot baths, paraffin wax baths, hand held massagers, facial steamers..etc. you can even make your own facial masks out of household products (do a search on line for recipes and there will be tons to choose form)- have cheap flip flops or eye masks as party favors for guests (check out the dollar store for that stuff). make smoothies and healthy type snacks for this party! you could also incorporate this into your girls party- a clothes exchange party! we have one a few times a year where everyone brings any clothing, shoes, purses, whatever that they don't wear anymore and exchanges them for other peoples items. separate all items into sizes in piles and everyone dives in to get first dibs on the goods! FREE SHOPPING! what girl doesn't love new clothes for free!

  9. If all girls:

My friends and I do stuff like this all the time, and we are in our late 20's:

Movie Night- you could have a theme - like Romantic Comedies, and rent all girly movies.  Usually every girl brings her favorite movie in the genre we choose (horror, action, whatever)and then we vote on which ones to watch. It is super fun.

Having lots of fashion magazines and stuff around to flip through is fun too, because as you know, girls always want to talk and do other stuff while a movie is playing.

Also, we always have some sort of food we decide to all make together, like homemade pizzas or nachos w/ everything on it. Everyone brings a few of the ingrediants and you all get to be crazy in the kitchen together.

And even though you are underage, you can drink fun non-alcoholic drinks out of fancy glasses. See this link for good drinks to serve:

Lastly, be sure to have a camera handy, as these are the kinds of nights that you really want to remember with your girlfriends.

(Sorry I don't have any ideas for boy/girl parties. Boys can be so lame sometimes - they pretend they don't think anything is fun!)

  10. have the radio cranked up and get some chips and dip! you can't go wrong with that! go to a local pool or your neighborhood pool! if you have a neighborhood pool!

hope everything works out! have fun

  11. watch a comedy movie, have the girls bake dessert, no alcohol, kick back outside as the sun sets, music, games such as twister and jenga

  12. have a 70's party with ty dying and dancing

  13. I think u should do a dance party at the pool....with awesome music and awesome people.  I think you should ask guys to come to make it more interesting.....but don't do anything you'll regret

  14. Maybe a bonfire, roast hot dogs and marshmallow.  Good people and good conversation.

  15. Ok I may not be the best party planner but I'll give it a shot! First, if you have a pool or a hot tub you dont have to do anything else! But if not, which is most likely the case, I would just do something simple but memorable. Have really good food out and some good drinks (no alchohol!) and turn on some really good music. Move all of your furniture out of one room and have it like the dance room you know? Then, if you have a yard, put some pretty lights out side in the bushes and lite some candles outside becuase summer nights are so beautiful. It would be the perfect place to laugh and hang out with friends when it gets late. All in all, if these people are good friends of yours you probably wont have to do anything but have them there!

good luck, i hope this helps! Happy Partying!
