Ideas for a teen girls room?

Question

I'm 14 and i want to redo my room but I'm not really creative and i don't have many ideas

i love purple light green and baby blue and i want my room to be kinda like a cool place to just chill with my friends but i have no idea how to do it

i need as many ideas as possible

don't be afraid to leave a long answer

i need all the help i can get

Ok the purple would be way cute with silver accents! Like a smoky dark purple with a silver comforter, and then make like a little corner where its just dedicated to hanging out with friends have bean bags, or floor cushions and like a lamp but put a cool scarve over it too make it look funky, and have candy dishes or jars on a table or wherever, and make a collage i love thoses they are so fun! haha and very unique! Ummm...maybe you could hang like fabric on one entire wall from ceiling to floor that would be SWEET!!!

Well I would do the light/lime green on the walls. Then on an accent wall, you can paint it with chalk paint. So when your friends come over they can draw on the wall and leave notes to you. It would be cool if you had all  silver metal furniture. Like a metal frame bed. Your comforter should have the green, purple, and blue in it. Then buy accent pillows in those colors too. Also, a body pillow always makes your bed look more comfy. Something really unique would be if you bought two metal frame twin beds. You could attach one to a wall kind of low. Then, attach the other one to the wall perpendicular to the other wall, but higher then the other bed. That way when your friends come over it will be a fun place to hang and sit on the beds, plus if they sleep over..there is two beds. You can also buy cork tiles and place them in your room. You could also buy a bean bag or those oval chairs. You can also buy bead curtains or just fun curtains.

I just answered another question that was similar, but I will also tell you to have a look at the neat wall stickers that are available now. Just looking at the example rooms will give you a lot of ideas. Wall stickers now-a-days are often large and give a room a big bang of decor.

first choose the colors you want to use (in your case probably purple light green and baby blue) and find the basics with those colors- such as bedding, rugs, curtains, wall paint, etc. do you play any sports or have a hobby? do you like the beach? if you do you can add accents that have to do with that. put pictures of you and your friends on the walls, hang a bulletin board up, paint some old furniture to match if you dont want to buy new furniture. just make it however you want!! its your room...just express yourself!! you  can put a cute border on your walls.. get a funky bean bag chair or decorative chair or stool that matches and make it comfortable for you and your friends! dont make it somewhere you dont want to be but make it somewhere you and yuor friends could be all the time to just hang out!! maybe get a magazine rack and put out some of your favorite magazines. also a good idea is to put the furniture how it will be easiest for you. example: dont put your desk somewhere where you wont use it. put picture frames / pictures/posters/ shelves whereveer you have a open wall. just do whatever you want! in my room a lot of things are pink and zebra; i have zebra bedding, rugs, pcitures, magazine rack, chair, stool, pillows, etc.

i would paint my walls purple, just not a very dark purple.

then try to get a light green or a baby blue bedspread, but i wouldnt limit yourself to just these colors.

you also want to use a ton of accessories, try getting a vanity, a nice chair, or a desk. you may want to check out www.pbteen.com  they have a ton of really cute things that go great in any room. also you may want a bulletin board so you can put up cute pictures of you and your friends, or a white board to just write down memos and funny, or inspiring messages. hope i helped. :)

first of, do like pink? if you do there should always be pink stuffs in a girls room...pink floral bed sheets...princessy curtains...have droops over your bed....and have a HUGE WARDROBE!!!

Pink is my favorite color, but my old room was pink so I wanted a change. I wasn't sure what I wanted until I was in a furniture store and I saw a room scenario in a light green. I thought it was so pretty. My new room is green (a light pastel but its kind of bright) with pink accents.  The comforter, curtains, lamps, and lounge chair are pink. I got my stuff from JC Penney's. They have lots of cute stuff. Pottery barn teen is cute too! On my desk I have a bulletin board with all sorts of stuff on display and a little lounge chair to sit in when my friends are over.

well i am doing my room now the same colors and what i am doing is making each wall a different color (with the three colors) and on the biggest open spaced wall i am making a collage of all three colors like try polka dots or checkered board. Then get some stuff for your room that match your walls
