I really really don't like any of the usual suggestions for processional music so need some suggestions for something different. Im getting married in a registry office so nothing over the top! I like the idea of an instrumental version of a song but am having a mindblank of anything suitable!

  1. Dome Epais ("The Flower Duet") from Lakmé by Delibes http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n_zm6pQZ1...

I have heard some lovely arrangements of this for two flutes if you prefer instrumental to vocal.

Cavalleria Rusticana (Intermezzo) by Mascagni  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7OvsVSWB4...

'Por Una Cabeza' by Carlos Gardel if you want something a little different

  2. I had the instrumental version of Bittersweet Symphony. Lovely piece of music and all importantly in a civil wedding, not religious.

  3. I am planning my wedding too and have been searching for a wedding dance song when I came across this one, Kyla - Beautiful Days, sorry it's not instrumental, but is still a lovely song which would be perfect to walk down the aisle to.

I will put the youtube link here for you, so you can listen to it.

Hope this is some help, good luck and congrats!

  4. I used "moon river" (instrumental) to walk down the aisle, and just found some other classical music that I liked for the bridesmaids etc. like my flowers girls walked down to one of the upbeat cheerful songs from the nutcracker, don't remember which one though....

  5. "Look Up" by Zero 7

  6. "Something" by the Beatles- it doesn't get more beautiful than that, in an instrumental format.
