  1. Make Pinatas.... Make beaded necklaces, bracelets... paint, color, make a scrapbook, do girly stuff like hair and nails, use fun colors and nail stickers- make sure it's ok w/ her Mom first, play dress up... make a "music video".... there are so many fun things to do!

I am a member of www.NannyIsland.com and it's a free website for Nannies and Babysitters, we all come together and share ideas and stuff.  You should join us!

Anyways, chances are she's got some fun ideas of her own so be sure to ask her!  You could always arrange a movie party or something where she has some friends over and you all watch a movie.... bake cookies.... play w/ her toys... play with a sprinkler, go to the lake or a park... etc.

    Have fun :)

  2. You could make little bejewled boxes out of used altoid tins. get some glotter and rhindstones@ your local craft store.

Also, you could make shapes out of toothpicks and mini marshmellows. That was my fave back in the day!

Stamps, with ink. My cousin loves them!

  3. 1)barbies

    2)make barbie clothes

    3)make paper butterflies

    2)cook diner with her

    you can color with her

    take her to the park

if they have pets take the kid and the pet for a walk

  4. Try making puppets

    =p

  5. make fun snacks to eat

paint outside since the weather is nice

make summery artwork, (flowers, popsicles, beaches)

  6. Crayola makes a great line of products. I would suggest going to Michael's and browsing the Crayola aisle. When you're checking out be sure to inquire about a coupon

  7. The kids I babysit enjoy beading.

Can you go outside? Chalk is always fun.

Build tents with chairs and blankets

    Make sock puppets

turn out the lights and use a flashlight to make shadow puppets

Flashlight tag is fun to play indoors when its dark

    finger print animals

    coloring(of course!)

make collages with cool pictures and pretty paper

    paint her nails?

And ask her for suggestions. She would be really happy to know you want her input.

  8. my 8 year old love making things painting, glueing, glitter read a story then try to make the characters from the story then act it out feed there imagination its great to be that age or dressing up and role play faries, angels ect. making biscuits, cakes decorating them with sprinkles, icing

  9. I've noticed that when babysitting one fool proof way to keep a kid entertained for a little bit is breaking out the coloring books and crayons. Kids love it when you color with them- and you dont really have to put any effort into it since the coloring book is already ready for you and there isn't much of a clean up. I wouldn't recommend any crafts that make a mess. I've been there-trust me there is nothing worse than the kid makign a mess allllll over the living room when you are babysitting.

Another fun thing you can do it get some cheerios and fruit loops, and make a necklace with some string. She can make a pattern.

Is there are park around? Ask the mother if you can take her to the park or pool.

And if all else fails get the kid drunk. ......Just kidding.

  10. board games

    guessing games

    hangman

    homemade pictionary

    tic tac toe

    hide and seek

    guess what im thinking of

this game that kinda like hide and seek, but you hide an object and then the other players have to find it. (if you want, you can say getting colder or hotter)

  11. -make personal pizzas with crazy things on them

-make masks kids love doing tht for some reason

    -make a paper flower bouqet

-use trash to make something (make a town out of trash)

    -make jewlery from zitti

    hope they help

  12. 1.Take her to the park

    2.play outside

    3.ride bikes

    4.make a necklace

5.color or paint by number(painting might be a little messy)

6.Make a cake, or brownies, or such.

  13. Maybe play dress up or house together.

    Play pretend.

Play kitchen and pretend you are the customer and she is the waitress taking orders.

Go out for walks, go swimming, or teach her how to ride a bike.

Buy foamy things from the art store and make a foam purse or hat or something.

    Go to the park.

If you are old enough to drive, maybe instead of buying the crafts ahead, let her go to the store along with you.

Make a gingerbread house or bake something together.

Read to her and maybe helped her learn a few words or sentences.

Make jewelry with beads or with fruit loops or cheerios.

Play catch outside or play in the sprinkler.

Let her paint a wooden box with acrylic paint.

Maybe ask her if she wants to make a "surprise" for her parents.

Get all of her stuffed animals and name them all. :)

Play hide-and-seek a few times and see if she can find you.

Buy her a diary and ask her to write down all of the things she   did that day or wants to do the next time you come over.

Maybe once a week do an outing with her to buy ice cream, go to the store, park, pool, etc. (I know I said that already)

There are many other things to do, but these were all I could think of right now and I hoped I helped a little. Good Luck!! :)
