Ideas for bedroom.....?

I'm 14 starting today. I love red, purple, green, and orange. I have white bookshelves but no other funiture so I'm looking for something to match that. My style isn't very modern. It's kind of 70s. I want to have the same room for 4 years so it can't be too "kiddish". I have no idea what I want to do.

Give me pictures for inspiration. 10 points (or 2)!

Tropical style rooms are really fun and they seem to stay in style for a while.  Paint your walls a light tan like the color of sand and then add a really fun tropical bedspread.  Here are some ideas.

You could try painting two walls (maybe the opposite walls) purple and the other two walls red. Then get accessories that are orange and green. Like pillows, blankets, chairs, etc.

What kind of floors do you have? Carpet? Hardwood? What's the size of the room? The shape of the room?

You could get better ideas by going to a paint store (or any store that has paint in it) and grab some magazines that have pictures of bedrooms in them. They're great inspiration! I tried searching online for you, but I didn't get too many good results. :[ Sorry

search around for furnisure, like maybe target, walmart or kiea and find stuff u like. anything cna go with white chelves, and if u want, u could even paint them a different color.

then pick a bed spread. something u love. again, try walmart and traget, and wakeupfrankie.com has a bunch of cool stuff.

from there match a minor paint color in the sheets.blankets to the color u want for ur walls. make sure it's overly dominant in the sheets cause then it'll be overkill.

from there, just have fun. buy or make posters and other stuff to put on ur walls, randomly buy items u like that show ur personality to decorate ur room with, just be creative. and since the room's small, i'd suggest a lighter color for the walls.
