Ideas for boy cinderella fairy tale party invites?

Hi,

My auntie has asked me to make my cousin some party invites for her 6th birthday party next month, because i have been graphic designing for around 5/6 years :)

As she's a little girl ofcourse she wants a cinderalla, fairy tale kind of theme.

However, she wants invites for girls AND boys, obviously i have an idea of what to design for girls.

But what do i design for boys & still keep it cinderalla themed?

Any advice would help me so much! :)

Thanks, Sarah. x

  1. Pink Cinderella Castle for girls, Blue normal/brick castle for the boys! You could do it so the invite is the castle doors and you open it!

Or you could go with a picture of a princess for the girls and a knight for the boys?

    Unicorn / knight's horse?

    Two different crowns? King/Princess's tiara

A scroll with a wax seal 'you are cordially invited to princes x*x's palace.....'. Tie it up with satin ribbon, blue for boys pink for girls if you like.

have fun - sounds like an awesome idea for a party!

  2. u can do knights

  3. I would suggest Lucifer (the cat).

Check these scratch card games for Cinderella Party out.

Ok.. how about the castle on the front of the card. and inside everyone is invited to the palace for a ball.

Or... how about if the front is a proclamation and everyone is commanded by order of her majesty to attend the royal ball. Hear ye, hear ye, all persons in the kingdom are here by commanded to attend the (last name) Palace for a ball celebrating the 6th birthday of Princess cousin.

  4. Maybe you could design the prince charming on a horse design for the boys!!

  5. you can use the prince on the cover

  6. Like a dark night blue or a baby blue and put a a silver prince crown on the front, and use a silver writing inside too. you could have little silver bows  or something too, cause remember these are kids, the parents will be reading them. lol.

  7. what about pictures of prince charming or the horse or footmen

  8. Prince Charming my eye. Get the boys to dress up as the rats and the frogs and the ugly sisters.

  9. how about the prince?

  10. There are a lot of really cool characters in Cinderella besides the Cinderella and the Prince.  If you go by Disney's version, there are mice, birds, owls, and a nasty mean cat.  And wasn't there a Mickey Mouse version of Cinderella?  If so, you can use Mickey Mouse as the Prince on the boys invitations. That would be cool!  All little boys like Mickey Mouse.  For that matter, take any disney character aimed at boys (like Pluto the dog) and dress him up as a Prince Charming and put him on the little boys invitations. The mothers will love you!

  11. Hi Sara,

Take a look at this picture - perhaps this will help you out and or give you an idea.

I know it's a Cinderella theme - perhaps they can dress as little kings.  All little boys like that plus they love to play with toy swards.

  12. make a prince for the boys.?

  13. I agree with the Prince Charming theme for the boys, but you have to make him look cool, so I was thinking something like this.

You might want to lose the gun, but I think leaving the mask would be ok. They used to have a lot of masked balls in those days.

  14. wat about prince charming, or the noble steedman carnt reali think of much else sorry hope it helped

  15. then go make invites for boy cinderella themes with a prince on it and make it blue in color.

  16. it's got to be the prince ...just perfect.

  17. For the boy invitations use prince charming as the focus point. He'sa guy so they won't think of it as a "girly" invite!
