Ideas for building a model of an Aztec Pyramid?

We have a project in spanish class and i need to make a model of an Aztec Pyramid

any good ideas on how to make it?

we're allowed to use anything...meaning clay, food, legos, playdough....

I saw one that was made of cardboard and painted - very nice and maybe easier than clay, etc.
