Question:

Ideas for cheap, biodegradable catapult ammo?

I am after ammo that I can shoot in the garden and don't have to recover (bb's are expensive and won't do the lawn mower any good!).

I have been trying out peanuts - which work ok if they have not split in half (shooting half a nut means it curves off wildly to one side).

Any ideas for other really cheap, environmentally friendly ammo?

  1. apples...pumpkins...really be more specific how big is this catapult because when i hear catapult i think of some huge thing

  2. It must be a small catapult. How about round candy like Malted Milk Balls, or a bag of hard candy balls like Atomic Fire Balls? Some of that stuff is sold in bulk and shouldn't be too expensive.

  3. They sell Biodegradable bbs at walmart and D i c k's Sporting Goods its kinda expensive but worth it. Not all stores have the product your looking for

  4. Marshmellows, cookie dough, etc... soft sweets work!

  5. dried peas
