  1. Well, to find your first post... go to your profile page and click on "My questions".

Some ideas would be a chocolate fountain (or maybe just fondue) with strawberries, pineapple chunks, banana chunks, cookies, pretzels, marshmallows, cake chunks, wafers, etc.

Entertainment could be a moon bounce, games, and a movie (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory or the classic Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory!), and sugar cookie decorating.

A "Fear Factor" game may be fun for 11 year olds. Make up concoctions from unappetizing foods and drinks or just mix and match to make something that looks gross and doesn't taste great either. We did this in grade school using tomato juice, olives, pickle juice, etc. (We had to drink pickle juice straight which is pretty gross to a kid). Give the different things gross names so the kids don't know exactly what they are eating/drinking. Or a chocolate tasting or identification game. Cut different candy bars in half and have kids identify them by what they look like on the inside. Give a prize to the winner.

Let the kids take home the cookies they decorate along with some other treats. I have also seen rice krispy treats shaped like hershey kisses and wrapped in foil. Those could be another treat.

Of course, for a chocolate themed party you need chocolate cake and chocolate ice cream.

    Good Luck!

  2. fondue with fruit. chocolate pizza. chocolate calzones. a pinata with different chocolates inside.

  3. we've played a game before where you create a one inch tray of flour and balance pieces of chocolate on it. The idea is a bit like apple bobbing - you use only your mouth to get the chocolate, getting covered in flour in the process.

Also, you can get a plate, a bar of chocolate and a knife and fork, then playing like musical chairs, start some music and pass the plate with the chocolate on it around the circle of kids. When the music stops they try and cut a piece of choc off with the knife and fork. Good fun.

Finally, a warning, think about the after affects of the chocolate - might be worth getting sick bags!!

  4. Do you have a chocolate fountain? If not call a cake store & see if you can rent one. (for chocolate) or buy one at a craft store.

Use chocolate in it. The kids can dip strawberries, cookies, pretzels, whatever you want.

Also have a chocloate tasting contest blind folded. Hersheys, Milky way, etc.

  5. Chocolate fountain essential!

dip strawberries, cherries, banana's, marshmallows, pineapple chunks.

Chocolate spread sandwiches, bread sticks dipped in chocolate and covered with sprinkles.

Chocolate milkshake with a scoop of chocolate ice cream.

May be add some mint or orange to vary the chocolate flavor.

May be chocolates from around the world, UK, USA, Australia, japan, Belgium.

Watch the film Charlie and the chocolate factory!

  6. you definetly need to have lots of chocolate. i would suggest as a party favor, you should take a hershey's bar and wrap it with a little label that says something like 'thanks for attending my chocolate party... hope you had fun.. etc' and a chocolate fondue fountain is always fun. you can also give each person a few bars of chocolate and see who can build the most creative object (eg: house, dog, etc..)

  7. You should try, if possible, a chocolate slip'n'slide!

also, chocolate fountains are good, and maybe if it would work, you could fill squirt guns with fudge.

    chocolate cake is a must.

  8. Use fondue pots with different kinds of chocolate, pineapple, strawberries, marshmallows, pretzels, cookies

    whatever you like!

Have a area to decorate their own cup cakes!

Have candy in bowls all over the house!

Chocolate tasting  (like a wine tasting)

    Chocolate milk or milk shakes

    Finger paint with chocolate

    Have a great time!
