Ideas for community service?? DUI in GA recently....?

Hi,

I recently received a DUI in the state of Georgia and was wondering if any one had any good ideas or suggestions for ways to complete my 40 hours of community service?

Any help or suggestions are appreciated!

dude i dont know..i just had to stop and check out your answers because im in the process of clearing my dui..good luck..hey FYI i wouldnt work outside..i dont want people looking at me pick up trash....yeah that may sound screwed up being that i got my self in the sito ..but if i had the oppurtunity to pick CS then what do you care..gl

I used to work for Cobb County Parks & Rec.  We had lots of people do community service with us.  Picking up trash, weedeating, etc.  Seems like I remember that people would usually get hooked up too...

Contact your local Alcoholics Anonymous group. They usually have opportunities for service available. In my city, we have a couple of "Clubs" where meetings run all day. They need people to help clean floors, rooms, empty garbage, etc. Many times, individuals from the court system go there to work off their community service.

I know a couple of people that worked in the concession stand for the local little league for their community service

I went to my local Salvation Army for community service. I spent 5 days going through purses people had donated and checking them for any contents. (FYI..I never found anything interesting out of like 5000 purses!)

I work at Animal Control

We take work release people to clean kennels and feed the dogs and cats.If you like animals its a lot of fun.

I have become good friends with some of them too.
