Ideas for decorating a photo frame?

I'm planning on making this photo frame:

Can anyone help me on with ideas for decorating it?

I'm planning on putting a photo of a horse in it, so I thought about decorating it with pictures of things associated with horses but it might be hard to draw...

Stickers? Or cheaper option would be cutting out pictures from magazines?

Then you could jazz it up with glitter, sequins, buttons.. if that's your sort of thing!

Just go down to your local craft store you will find loads of stuff to make it look really original and funky!

why don't you get loads of little pictures of horses, and stables, and horse riding accessories etc and make a collage effect frame?

or get some felt (from a craft shop) and make some grass (just cut the felt into a grassy shape) and stick at the bottom of the frame. get some brown felt and make a fence, and stick this each side of the photo window, and at the top do blue for sky, with perhaps some white clouds.

or, find some shiny confetti, like for parties and things, the bright coloured hard confetti. find loads of horse shoe ones, make the background of the frame the colour you want, and then glue all the horse shoes onto the frame.
