Ideas for environmental project.?

I need ideas for environmental projects, BUT, it must be something that a 17 year old can do, It's for school. & I also need the source (website) you got the idea from.

well the best way i think where in they can understand their impacts in the environment is to calculate their won carbon footprint for them to truly realize that wven as individuals they contribute to the destruction of such environment.

OR, well teh usual tree planting hehe.

OR why let thme make a sort of documentary about the environment. or why not an album og pictures that they photographed telling a story about the environment and yiou can use it to have like a photo-exhibit.
