  1. You can prepare a good easy dinner. Or take him somewhere memorable.  You can also buy him a flask. Check this out for more gift ideas http://www.executivegiftshoppe.com/hip-f...

  2. Get a large, inexpensive frame - such as for posters - and make a collage of family pictures, old & new, large & small.  This can also be made with a large piece of sturdy cardboard.  It can be covered with clear contact paper for protection and pull tabs from cola cans attached to the back to hang it from.  Very slightly overlap the pictures and cover the entire surface.

  3. When my son's first father's day came along, I stamped his hands (made imprints of his hands using a stamp pad and white paper) and cut those out, mounted them on colored construction paper with pictures of the two of them.  I bought a $3 frame at walmart and framed it - he loved it and still has it by his bed so it's the first thing he sees in the morning.

  4. Nice handmade portraits or paintings made from photos are always a good gift idea. You can find more such ideas at http://www.paintyourlife.com

They make all types of personalized and unique portraits on oil, pencil, charcoal, etc.

They also do wonderful photo-printing on canvas in different designs as well as oil painting reproductions. Please take a look at http://www.photo-print-on-canvas.com and http://www.oil-paintings-reproductions.c... for more information.
