Ideas for film noir inspired photoshoot?

for homework i'm meant to do a story board of photos, minimum 20 photos, in the style of film noir

You should have a few models in the period clothing. You may be able to find some in vintage stores. Get the retro pin up look.

Maybe a few in black and white, a few in color, be sure women wear red lipstick.

Get some shots of buildings. Maybe a guy in a suit and a fedora smoking a cigarette, make him look like a detective. Do mostly outside.

If you can use something that looks like an office, have the "detective" sitting at the desk, have a s**y woman in a dark suit sitting on his desk flirting with him (the client).

Film Noir is about older crime and horror movies. Try to play it up.

could you do photos of a town at night, like the photo  or art called

NIGHTHAWKS   i think    ?

i   wonder if you could find a starbucks or some coffee place, open all night, to show the comings and goings ?

other film noir ideas

an OLD train station, also showing comings and goings - partly trains, partly people

i can't think of a good way to get lots of people in old style clothes
