Ideas for good online schools?

Question

I want to get my Certified Medical Assistant degree via on-line school, but I don't know which one to choose. Any ideas??

(BTW, I have been working as medical records & reception for private practice for the last 3+ years.)

Hi Stacey,

I am a Admission Advisor at a regionally accredited school which is also the #1 university online. We have an AAS in Medical Assisting. We are currently enrolling for the fall semester. Not only do I work at kaplan but I also graduated from Kaplan with an Bachelors degree.

That's good that you've been in the field for that long. As far as choosing a school, just find one that offers it first, secondly, check the accredidation, do this with every school you find because I imagine cost is an issue.

Another thing, I understand that you may not have the program near you but you might want to just take some classes through a local community college, that might look bad to some employers unless the school requires you to do residency activities or intern.
