Ideas for house party ( sweet 16 )?

I'm 15and my mum said i could have a party for my 16th in september with a maximum of 15 people what should i prepare for the party e.g buffet - barbecue And what other ideas would any of you have for the theme ? etc.

A good party consists of good food, good music, and good conversation. So, for starters, prepare your menu. Know in advance what you want to serve your guests. I would suggest barbecue, ish kabobs, rolls, corn on the cob, baked beans, hamburgers, hotdogs, stuff like that. However, don't leave out anyone. It'd help to know if any of you guests are vegetarians. For that, you could dish out some salad and soy and tofu entrees. For drinks, I suggest lemonade, diet drinks, sodas, tea, and water. In terms of the situation of entertainment, simply, take a stereo out of the house and tune it to your favorite station. Also, be sure everyone has a good time. Walk around and mingle with your company. Be a good host. Most of all, have fun! Oh! And well, I guess for your theme, it could just be of summer.

Well, I think you should invite a mixture of guys and girls to the party. I think a bbq would be a good idea. & maybe some salads and stuff to go with it. If you are going to use the garden a lot for your party you could get a small swimming pool or a large paddling pool - if you don't have one already - and put some filled water bombs and stuff out as well. Remember to remind people to bring bikinis and stuff though. Also you should put a small table of snacks for people to have throughout the party, these could include crisps, sweets, grapes, raisins, muffins, cupcakes, etc. You could play a game or two of spin the bottle. Get a little booze - beers, vodka, etc. - Also, inside you could set up a Nintendo Wii or PS2/3 if you have any of these or anything similar.

For a theme it could be like Hawaiian and you get like coconut cups and put up a few big garden umbrellas and maybe get a hammock or something. This goes really well with the paddling pool idea.

Bouncy castles and inflatables are excellent party ideas, Buddy`s have many inflatables for adults, inflatables like the gladiator duel, sumo suits, surf simulator, bungee run, bouncy boxing and kangaroo boxing suits are great fun for adults and teens. also you should get the sing along karaoke thing that's on the PlayStation that's brill if u don't have it you can rent the game at a video store!!!

My mate had one once and her bf went as hugh hefner and she was holly from the playboy mansion.

Or do hollywood glamour, it should be fun!
