We are living in the above areas and am after any ideas for my 8 year old son. He has done the maccas and the bugalugs for the last 4 years, but would love something a little different this time round. But without costing the earth, cause I still have to buy presents, cake and loot bags. Also, I cant have it at home so looking at going somewhere for it

  1. Well  something outdoors sounds like fun, a park or playground always has lots of room to run around, (which is what kids like best anyway!).

I may be able to help with the lolly bags - http://www.boughtitonline.com.au  - I am in the process of putting up an online shop but meanwhile have posted a few bags on eBay, some suitable for boys.  I have a mixed lot which have small goody bags an am able to do just boys toys.  Wish I could show you all the options I have, email me if you want and I can show you more!

Pick which toys are suitable for 8 year olds, would skip out laser pointers for safety and concentrate on squishy rats and inflatable swords!

ps I bought $1,000 worth of stock and out of all I had my 10 year old daughter raced for the squishy rat.... can throw and they squidge and splat!

  2. The park is always free, so is the beach, and both create a lot of enjoyment. My little brother had a BMX party, it was great fun! Just have a table of food or ask everyone to bring a plate of food. you could have simple games like "pin the tail on the donkey" etc http://www.partygamecentral.com/ has some slightly better games than what I can suggest though :P

    Have fun ^^
