  1. It should be beach themed. Have a inflatable ball and a water net so you can play water volleyball. Have a basketball net by the pool and have a basketball so you can play water basketball. Have some pool games and give prizes for the winners. Have a toy shark in the pool so people can think there is a real shark in the pool. Make sure it is underwater though. They also have battery operated aqua toys (like the ones in the commericals). Have a stero outside and have the kids listen to it. Also if you have a list of invitees, ask them to write the title and artist of the song(s) and have a mix of them so they know exactly what they picked. I hope this helps and have a happy early birthday!

  2. Have a dance party! They are SO much fun! everyone will love it.

  3. wow thats weird cuz my birthdays in a month too well u should have a hawiian theme and get those necklesses(4got their name) and you can get good stuff at Party City.

  4. There's SO much you can do!

Get some beach balls and scatter them into the pool, everyone will play around with them.

Get some lounge chairs and some waterproof cushions to put around the pool area so when you and your friends aren't swimming, the pool is your lounge area.

Get an inflatable boat and fill it with ice and put your bottled drinks in there, water, soda, etc.  Float it in the pool.  Then when someone wants a drink, it's right there with everyone!  Just remember to tell everyone to put the caps back into the boat or WAY off to the side of the pool, they WILL break the filter if they're thrown into the pool!  You can just use the boat as a cooler and put it on the side of the pool.

Set up a volleyball net and have everyone play volleyball and badmitten in the yard.

Do some relay races.  Potato sack races, three legged races, wheelbarrel races, etc.

Get an inflatable kiddie pool and fill it with water, break into 2 teams and have a tug of war, the losing team ends up in the pool.

Have a pie eating contest, but instead of pie, fill the tins with whipped cream and whoever finishes first, wins!

Set up an ice cream bar.  Get chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry ice cream and some toppings. Sprinkles, chocolate syrup, whipped cream, and cherries and have everyone make their own sundaes.  You can get the tall plastic sundae glasses at the dollar store or the waffle cone bowls at the grocery store.

Get a pinata.  Go to the party store and pick one out that you like.  Then in the same aisle they have what's called pinata filler, they're big bags of candy to fill them with. You can also add some of your favorites too.  Just make sure to get some ziplock bags and write everyone's name on them so no one's fighting over whose bag is whose at the end of the party!

I hope some of these ideas help and that you have a great party and a very Happy Birthday!
