  1. please look at this pic and notice that when playing with pink it's a good idea to use more than 1 tone to give movement to the room

  2. http://www.hgtv.com/hgtv/dp_bedrooms/

  3. i'm thinking s**y 1940s theme, pink and white candy striped walls. black coiled bed  everything really detailed, Large gold boarded mirror antique styled, basic white dresser with gold handles again antique design. lace throw pillows with gold embellishment, gold throw pillows with lace trims, pink and white doona, shaggy white mat and pink or white curtains with gold ties gold hat rack to hang all your handbags, scarves, hats etc on

    as for websites not sure

  4. 14 an thinking of victorias secret already?? geesh!!well anyway... pink...hmmmm how about pink walls as you want..then white curtains with a hint of gold in them. also use some throw pillows of the colors you want and maybe a throw.. also a chair in a differant color. you dont wnat too much of the same color .. the one that is most prominent. choose other colors that go with your room.also a rug ..and some pictures or posters..maybe both of what you like. also a computer desk and shelving on the walls for your books etc... aww sweetie go to HGTV.com and DIY.com and they have so many good ideas.good luck an hugssss

  5. i like the juicy couture idea- you can either get wallpaper or a border made with the logo or even get a plain border that you can stencil the logo onto.  then you can accessorize accordingly.

For more ideas, try going to the Qualified Interior Designers website.  They have great articles and resources to use.

  6. Just a few decorating tips:

Keep the furniture neutral, so you can decorate your room with lots of colourful accessories. And this means that when you get sick of the look of your room, you just have to change the accessories, which will change the whole theme of your room.

Remember that candles, pillows, lamps, throw rugs and picture frames are all good accessories to add the finishing touches to a room.

If you would like to plan how you're going to decorate your room on a 3D home design program, may i recommend you download myvirtaulhome on myvirtualhome.com.au

hope some of my advice helped!!

  7. I would paint only the wall behind your bed pink. The other walls white with pink curtains and use the gold as an accent color. remember this rule. 60-40-10

    60 main color- white

    40 secondary color- pink

    10 accent- gold

white: 3 walls, bed linens, furniture

pink: accent wall, chair, curtain sheers, small throw for bed

gold: throw pillows, lamp, candle votives, picture frames

With these colors you need to keep it simple. Otherwise its going to look like there is too much going on. Make sure you have organized storage and keep all clutter tucked away. Good luck!
