So i'm a blonde teen, and I love to be super outgoing. I really want to paint my room in a way that shows my personality. I'd really like to do something bright, and not too expensive. Also, if you have any ideas for a way to make it different than the average room, that'd be a great help!!

Thanks you guys!!

  1. I just saw this technique on a HGTV show. On a paint card

pick 3 colors that you like that are all in the same family.

Do the darkest band on the bottom - next lighter in the center band and lightest color as the 3rd color that goes up to the ceiling

  2. I like to pick one bright but not overbright color  (like light teal)and paint all the walls with that then add some cool picture frames and wall stickers and stuff. also if u have a small room paint it a light color like lavender and put a little darker purple strip horizontaly through the middle, it makes the space look bigger

  3. play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find something that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:

I think a red like "flower pot" (# 6334) would look amazing with diagonal stripes in "santorini blue" (# 7607) and "dromedary camel" (# 7694).

  4. Put it on fire! Just kidding! Yellow it!

  5. well you could paint the walls light yellow and get sticker stars that go on walls and put the on and in the door way get some purple beeds that go in front of the door so when you walk in it ill be pretty yet fun and get a pink dresser good luck and have fun hope i helped

  6. I like the idea of picking two fun colors, painting one wall one color, the opposite wall the other color, and on the walls inbetween, try a diagonal line painting the top half the color of the wall it shares a corner with, and the bottom half the color it shares the corner with...

I am doing a poor job explaining.

    |Wall 1. Color 1.|Wall 2 Color 1. \ Color 2.|Wall 3 Color 2.|Wall 4 color 2\color 1|Wall 1

Does this make any more sense? :D
