  1. Maybe you can go with a beach / tropical feel. You can use colors such as beige, browns, whites, blues and yellows. If your room is small you can get a lot of cool room storage things from ross.

  2. oh.

you should paint your room like really really white.

and then get like beaded curtains that match your comforter but a bit darker.

then get a little rug to put on the floor.

    a funky light.

    and that sounds good.

  3. I have a comforter in the exact same colors. If you want to make your bed really 'pop', then I would suggest you add alot of decorative pillows in the same colors but lighter shades. And then, you could also add maybe 2 or 3 pillows in a different kind of color. SInce your colors are both cool colors. Then adding a little bit of orange or bright fushia pillows would really look good. And make sure your sheets are really bright! And a totally different shade of the lime green or aqua you already have.

I found this really cool thing on pbteen where you can imagine what your bed will look like. You can add all sorts of colors into it but they only have pbteen patterns. Check it out its really cool.

when it loads, select 'girl' and get started. If you want to look at my ideas, then here is what I would do, since you already have a good color range.

duvet: select 'washed twill pool' at the bottom.

quilt: select 'crinkle puff pale green'

sheet set: I would try to do something much brighter than pbteen's on the sheets but if you got a really cool pattern, it would show up ALOT. try 'awning stripe blue' or 'gum drop green'.

pillow: Like I said, adding an orange or fushia pillow would really make it 'pop' but with just a pillow, I thought it looked really out a place so with my bed, I added 2 orange pillows and orange sheets. It looked great! Try 'crinkle puff pink'

The bed you just created with the link may look nothing like what your bed is going to look like but it will give you alot of good ideas. I think its really fun to just play around with it sometimes.  Also, on pbteen you can check out some videos that teens made of there rooms:

For the rest of your room, I recommend getting white furniture (if you don't already have white furniture) so it doesnt take away from the lightness in your comforter.  Then what I did with my desk is hung these white shelves above it. you can get white shelves at ikea.com or homedepot.com, or pretty much anywhere. Then, I put these blue and green bins like these up there for storage and to add color to my desk.

but you don't have to get them at pbteen, I found some really cheap ones at BIG LOTS. Also, try jcpenny in the dorm section.

Also, I didn't do this but you can get a big floor mirror from almost anywhere, and if your lucky, you might be able to find one with a cork board border so you can put up an aqua blue or lime green ribbon around it that completely covers the corkboard. Then you can put up pictures of you and your friends around the outside, on the ribbon. I thought this would be a really cute idea.

Good luck with your room and I hope this helped!

Also, I left a few links below that should help you out.

  4. well you can have a pi nk and brown comforter and a nice wallpapper that is cute

  5. when re-decorating home, bedroom or any other room, always try to choose colors according to feng shui. in this case you will activate powers of 5 elements

(water, earth, metal, wood and fire) and support all your lucky "areas" - this will attract love, romance, wealth, money, prosperity, luck etc etc
