Ideas for teen girl bedroom????

Question

Hey, I am a fifteen year old teen that just re-did her bedroom. It is painted turquoise and has red and white accents all around the room. I really like the idea of my room. Only half of my room is really bare. For instance, on one half i have my bed, my red nightstand, and three wall shelves. On the other half i have a big black and white picture of NYC and black and white pics of friends. no furniture or anything. I though it would be cool to have a big red comfy chair, or a black pub set. Tell me any ideas you have...

If you have room for a small desk and wooden chair - maybe paint the desk red with turquoise drawer fronts and a turquoise chair.  And, a big comfy chaise lounge in any of your main colors would be great!  You could throw on some polka dotted or striped or fuzzy accent pillows.

Well i think the red sofa is a great idea for sleepovers or just hang out time with friends. especially if you have a TV in your room. but if the artwork is black and white i suggest a big black and white abstract or maybe a big painting by Monet. but i think with what you've described it to be, abstract would be perfect (:

Girly girl rooms from scratch:

well if she is a girly girl i suggest doing like a purple or pink bedroom with lots of colors. like oranges and yellows, greens and definitively pink. but also to paint the walls with big polka dots are always good. so here is an idea. paint all the walls purple, more dark than light, and do big polka dots in the colors of orange, hot pink, blue, yellow, and green. and its always nice to have a double sized bed for sleepovers, and low to the ground so its stylish and different, i mean like no box spring. and i hope there are lots of windows, at least two or a big one. so that the room gets lit. so it makes things flow better and more happy. and for decorations you might want to have some type of lights like a stran of little lanterns across the room. i hope you like my idea! <3

you could also get a nice desk that could go with the one side o your room,maybe put your computer there?

A Grandma rocking chair with comfy pillows on it will do great.

A huge square straw basket with a loose wooden top (removable) its nice to keep things inside and also to be used as a coffee table ( you can rest your feet on it !!) Paint the basket and wooden top in matching colours with the rest of the room  ( or be brave and paint it gold!!!)
