Ideas for things to do on my 20th birthday in Bangkok?

20 is the legal age for drinking in Thailand so (in modest amounts) that should be included in your plans.  

There are great eating places all over Bangkok and that does not have to only include Thai food.  

I would start out by going to a landmark building with a great view for a drink only --perhaps Baiyoke Tower, Sirroco Restaurant, or La Normandie Restaurant.  

Next, dinner would depend on your food taste.  You can find great restaurants by searching the net with your favorite food and prices are normally not too extravagant.  You might consider one of the many 5 star hotels and have an international buffet at Plaza Athanee, Hyatt Erawan, Westin, Shearaton, Oriental, etc.  Great bargains if you are hungry.

After dinner, you can wander around Bangkok in the markets (such as Patpong) or go see some entertainment at one of the hotels or night clubs (like Q Bar or Bed or Twisted Republic). Some places on Khao San Road are geared to young people (ie Gullivers club or Shamrock Pub). Another places to consider after dinner, is the RCA entertainment area (Flix, Route 66 Dude, etc).  Again, all are young people oriented with dancing and drinks.

Or, you could just take a boat cruise down the Chao Praya River for a few hours and enjoy dinner, drinks and dancing.  Have fun.

go to Khaosan road, it's one of the most popular road for club, bar..everything.. make the big party but dont be totally drunk, u can lose everything.n dont forget invite us..:)..have fun

Its Bangkok, do you really need advice on what to do? Its the most fun city on earth. geeze.
